TiE International Business Plan Competition 2013 Register Now
October 8th-29th, 2012
TiE International Business Plan Competition provides Graduate-level University students and their teams a chance to compete in World's largest and most successful Business Plan Competition at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Eligible TiE Chapters from outside the US will sign up to host a level 1 competition after scouting local universities for perspective participants. TiE Delhi and TiE Brussels will host the regional Finals (level 2) and the winner of each Final competition will go on to compete in the finals at the Rice University Business Plan Competition on April 11-13th, 2013 (level 3).

Berns Salonger June 8th, 2011
On June 8 TiE Nordic organizes an evening with unique opportunities to interact with some of the major investors and venture capitalists from the US and Nordic finance arenas.

TiE Nordic will have its Annual Champagne Toast @ Advokatfirman Delphi which will be followed by a very special evening at the Berns Salonger restaurant in Stockholm. The event is organized in cooperation with the US Department of Commerce, the US Embassy in Sweden and several top tier private equity & venture capital investors from the US.

Confirmed delegates from the US side so far, more to follow: Pantheon Ventures, New Atlantic Venture Partners, US Department of Commerce, Yale University School of Management, Thomas H. Lee Partners, Pegasus Advisors, SVB Capital, Novak Biddle Partners, New Enterprise Associates, The International Trade Administration, & The Camelot Group.

Price for the event including: champagne toast at Delphi, Dinner at Berns Salonger and a full year Charter membership in TiE Nordic:. 5 000 SEK per seat. Invite your clients and buy a full table of 10 seats for 45 000 SEK or earn special recognition as a partner of the event by reserving 25 seats for 100 000 SEK. Members will have their paid membership fee deducted from the price.

Detailed Agenda & Program will be sent to registered delegates a few weeks before the event.

TiE is the world's largest network for and by entrepreneurs with more than 13 000 members worldwide and chapters in 12 countries. The Nordic Chapter opened in 2007 and arranges networking events for members and guests on a monthly basis. TiE Nordic regularly takes part in special international high level events like the upcoming VC dinner in June. Charter Member Breakfast Event - Indian Tech Delegation Register Now

In connection to an Indian delegation of Companies active in the IT Sector, TiE Nordic will arrange a Charter Member Breakfast in co-operation with Invest Sweden. The companies are Small and medium sized companies from the Kerala region in India, with competences in software development, Iphone/Android apps, open source, e-commerce, SAP, medtec. The breakfast will be held at KREAB Gavin Andersson.

During the event we will hear presentations from the Swedish Indian Business Council and from selected participants of the Indian delegation.

Charter Member Networking event - Business opportunities on the German markets

This event is a networking opportunity for TiE Nordic's Charter Members and invited guests. The event is held with presentations on the topic "Business opportunities in Germany and German speaking markets", with speakers on the subject and guests with relevant experiences and interest. Some learning points, new perspectives and glances into the subject will be given during the presentations, and the main purpose of the event is to gain new acquaintances and to use the TiE network to acquire useful business contacts for all participants.

During this Charter Member breakfast we will address what the entrepreneurial environment is like in Germany and other German speaking areas, and successful strategies to succeed in that environment?

TiE Nordic is the local chapter of TiE, the world's largest network for entrepreneurs. Welcome to TiE Nordic monthly member networking event February. The topic for this event is "Finance your growing venture". Members and invited guests gather for a networking event with presentations on the topic.

We will listen to a presentation from Erik Martin, talking about venture capital financing. Erik Martin has extensive experience from the sector with more than 30 years as a Venture Capitalist and Business Angle.

NASDAQ OMX will present First North and how to plan short and long term when aiming for stock market listing.

David Garpenstål will talk about his experiences on financing issues from the entrepreneur's point of view. David Garpenståhl has 20 years of entrepreneur experience founding and leading more than 10 companies. He has successful track record from the music, event and gaming industries. Between 2005 and 2010 David was the Executive Chairman, then CEO and the person behind the success of DreamHack - the largest digital festival in the world. Although still an owner of the DreamHack group, David has now moved on to some new entrepreneur projects.

Charter Member Breakfast - Investments And Business Opportunities In Russia And Ukraine Register Now

Russia and Ukraine have been attracting international businesses with the size and business potential of their respective markets.
